The Ice Cream Boat is ready for another busy summer in 2007, as the OTTER II returns with a number of appearances throughout the watershed.  Each week, our 22’ pontoon boat is transferred to one of eleven lakes of the Cobbossee Watershed and “hosted” by residents who provide dock space and an electrical hook-up for our freezers. Over the past five summers, the original OTTER and OTTER II have come in contact with tens of thousands of people, enlisted over 1,000 members and provided valuable information and advice to thousands more as to what they can do to help protect the Cobbossee Watershed.

Clark Marine of Manchester, Maine continues to provide major support of the OTTER II and Hershey Ice Cream will once again be supplying the delicious treats this summer!

Along with our mascot “Spotter the Otter”, The OTTER II will be all over the watershed – participating at numerous community events, parades and gatherings.
