ANNOUNCEMENT –he Annual MLA Meeting will be held at 10 AM, July 19, 2008 at the Winthrop American Legion Building.
Guest Speaker Bill Monagle, Director of the Cobbossee Water District will speak on the Maranacook Lake Watershed Management Plan.

The mission of the Maranacook Lake Association
is to protect and improve the water quality of Maranacook Lake and its watershed for the benefit of all.

The objectives of the Maranacook Lake Association are to:

• Promote public awareness of water quality issues;

• Educate the public about strategies to protect water quality related issues;

• Enlist citizen, community organizations and municipal involvement;

• Support initiatives by agencies and related associations benefiting the Maranacook Lake Watershed;

• Conduct programs and projects to achieve our goals;

• Promote responsible stewardship for present and future generations;
