Mark your calendars now for the 8th Annual "Friends Cocktail Party", scheduled for Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the home of Mary Blouin on Lake Cobbosseecontee. Attendees will be serenaded by the sounds of the ever-popular Marcia Gallagher Jazz Quartet, with exquisite catering provided by White Flour Catering. This year's "microwave" auction - 6 items in 15 minutes - is back with guest auctioneer Jon James, 92 Moose radio personality, adding to the festive evening. Items to be auctioned off this year include Red Sox - Yankee and Patriot-Jet tickets; a one-week stay at a slope-side Sugarloaf condo; luxury box tickets to NASCAR at the Loudon Speedway; and a complete LakeSmart certified landscaping package up to $1,000. 100% of all contributions go directly towards supporting the programs and projects offered by the Friends, as all out-of-pocket costs continue to be underwritten by the Jay & Terry Snider Foundation.
